The right mindset for goal achieving

If you have learned of the rule in goal setting, know what the “right goal” is, decide on the number of goals you should set at a time, choose between written goals and unwritten goals, and grasped the basic concept for goal evaluation, you have done your homework. Congratulations!

With all these done carefully, you won’t likely fail unless your thoughts work against you. You may set a goal to blog and write for a living by the time you turn 35. Yet your mind keeps telling you that you can’t, you’re not good enough, you’re entirely preoccupied with your day job and family commitments, or whatsoever. Do you think you will be able to meet your goal? If not, it’s time to tame your mind and become its master.

Positive attitude key to goal achieving

The right mindset for goal achievingAccomplishing a goal like any thing else we want in life requires a positive attitude. It causes real grounds for balanced optimism within you so you can expect success and make effort to pull things in the direction we want them to go.

Positive attitude keeps you motivated and energetic to pursue what you want with joy, excitement and confidence. When obstacles surmount in your pursuit of goal achieving, you will, with positive attitude, tend to be proactive and respond constructively.

Thomas Edison’s wholly positive attitude earned him his world-wide recognition as the father of electrical age and the greatest inventor who ever lived. When asked why he had gotten lots of results, he replied: “If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I’m not discouraged because every wrong attempt discarded is often a step forward…”

If you cannot maintain a positive attitude, you’re sure to set yourself up for failure in your pursuit of achieving your goal. Remember that the amount of work is the same be it negative or positive attitude you’re trying to keep.
